Montgomery Ward & Co. catalogue and buyers' guide 1895.
I was disappointed. This was NOT downloadable, which meant I could not easily do a search, and I could not easily increase the size of the image so I could see it. None of your DOWNLOAD links work.

Why has Google Books deleted access?
It's confusing that I have an old screen snip with an active link to this very document on Google Books, but that listing has deleted the digital-document access. That is, the complete catalog used to be readily available on Google Books (e.g., as a PDF download) but now it's a useless index there on Google. If I didn't have an old screen snip and link I'd be worried I was just being paranoid. Why would they do delete the digital access on Google and replace it with a worthless index hyping a hyper-expensive print on demand copy from some greedy POD seller? Oh, right, greedy print on demand seller. OK, now I get it. Never mind. Thank you for having it here available in PDF and other digital forms.

It is better than the condensed printed version, in it hasn't had lots of pages chopped out.

Valuable Insight To Pre-1900 American Living
This catalog presents a wonderful glimpse into the products the Americans wanted during the time when many still farmed or lived in the county. Many of the items shown were still luxuries for most people, but Montgomery Ward also provided the basics for women and men. From cloth, dresses could be sewn and from tools houses could be built. My own grandmother went to college in a horse buggy, much like those shown in this catalog. The road was made from split logs.
